Reporting to the Group CFO, this role interfaces directly with the Board of Directors and is part of the Supervisory Body.
He/she will be responsible for activities related to Ethics, Risk, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Risk-Based Audits, Compliance, special Business Continuity projects (BCP), as well as D. Lgs 231/2001.
Main responsibilities:
• Lead the Internal Audit and Risk Management function by developing methodologies, and procedures for managing compliance and risk
• Coordinate the Corporate Audit & Controls Committee
• Act as an internal consultant for governance, risk management, and control activities for the Top Management and the Board of Directors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, external auditors, the Board of Statutory Auditors, clients and ISO certification bodies
• Support the execution of special projects requested by the Board of Directors or the CEO
• Interface with ISO certifying bodies, corporate clients, and external auditors on Audit, Risk Management, Whistleblowing, and Business Continuity issues
• Assess the internal control system, policies, and procedures aimed at identifying and reducing operational and financial risks
• Engage and manage third-party consultants
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
Experience and qualifications:
• Degree in Economics or Engineering
• Fluency in English
• Rounded experience in a similar leadership role in organizations of equivalent size and complexity
• “Hands-on” approach
• Strong focus on results and excellent communication skills
• Stress resistant, able to work under pressure, self-driven
• Able to create a positive work environment being a team player
